What is an 'intuitive healer'?

What is intuitive healing? What is it I do?

So I figure some people don't really grasp what exactly it is that I do as an intuitive healer or holistic intuitive therapist. Maybe you don't even believe what I do can help you, even through you have health concerns, physical, mental or emotional?

First of all anyone who wishes can be an intuitive healer, I'm not using anything special, or unique to me, or overly 'weird' or 'out there'. We all have intuitive abilities, or an innate, natural knowing of things. Without going too off track or getting too sciency even (yes even science, mainstream and not so mainstream, backs this up) we have energy flowing through us that gives us knowing and guidance that can guide us in life. I could talk about this all day, and cover some of it in my Exploring 22 Energy Centres masterclasses, but want to stay on track sharing what role this intuition plays in the support and service I bring.

I worked in health care for a decade, loved learning about medicine, supporting mental health, how the human body worked, and the only reason I'm not a 'qualified' nurse is because I chose to get married and have babies when I did, and that led me down a very different path, one away from modern medicine and into, or rather back into, my intuition.

So with a knowledge of studying anatomy and physiology, how mainstream science says the human body works, and my learning on Energy, quantum science, emotions and the natural magical world, I use all that to first of all listen!

The first thing I do as an intuitive is listen, to you, and then to my Inner voices (and at the risk of sounding weird I have several inner voices, in fact most of us do, no that does not make us mentally ill, we just get conditioned out of listening!).

From listening, I come to using my knowledge, gleaned from various sources already mentioned, and my intuition, to offer support.

This support is never telling you what to do. This is not about a band aid or popping a pill.

This guidance is about so much more.

What is the next step then?

As I mentioned from this listening I come to using my knowledge, gleaned from various sources, and my intuition, to offer support.

So, after listening to you share your needs, your thoughts, your feelings, what do I do in this intuitive role?

I primarily do one thing, Guide!

I do this in many ways though. This might be some energy healing (Reiki or shamanic), it might be emotional support to process trauma through EFT or similar processes I've been studying and creating. I also have a vast array of tools in aromatherapy, kinesiology, crystal knowledge, some herb lore and am just always adding to this magic because I love studying whole health and well-b

One of my main aims though, and the reasons my primary support is guidance, is to allow you to connect to your own intuition and become your own healer and guide. Ultimately an intuitive healer and many holistic therapist biggest desire is for you to not need us any more, or at least to only need very small amounts of support in things like massage or other physical, hands on support, which usually comes out of one's own desire to have physical touch sometimes. Never underestimation the healing power of a simple massage. Oh, and it doesn't then have to be me who does that, a partner can do it, a younger member of your family, or a friend. Again the idea is to learn that we all have the ability to nurture and support each other's wellbeing.

There's one or two other things I have up my sleeve too which I will share another time, but for now this is the foundation of what I do, how I help and I am just a short message away.
